George worked for the Centre for SMART from April of 2017 through November 2018. He participated in a project that focused on the implementation of continuous water quality monitoring techniques in the food manufacturing industry to achieve more efficient water usage.
George worked for the University of Surrey in the UK and Complutense University of Madrid in Spain. George is a Chemical Engineer with a PhD in the use of membrane bioreactors for decentralized wastewater treatment from the University of Bath in the UK and a certified project manager (PRINCE2 Practitioner).
He has both published scientific papers (102 citations in Scopus) and authored industrial reports and project deliverables.
